They want what you use.

The remote. The laptop. The car keys. The light switch by the door.

We made them a board of their own. Real switches, a real key, a real cable. The kind of things they already reach for, made for small hands.

This is theirboard to…

  1. Turn the key, the same way you start the car
  2. Flick the metal toggle and watch a light answer
  3. Press the red switch. Then the green one.
  4. Push the slider across, and back again
  5. Hold the blue button down for as long as they like
  6. Twist the knob a little, then all the way round
  7. Plug the cable in, pull it out, plug it in again
  8. Try everything they're usually told not to touch

Real switches, not buckles and zips. Every one lights something up.

Goes where you go.

The size of a paperback, 280g, and it makes light instead of noise. Everything's fixed to the board, so it goes in the bag whole and comes out whole. Restaurants, waiting rooms, the back of the car.

Busy Board FAQs

Will it be loud?

No. There's no speaker. It lights up and that's it.

Is it okay for a 2-year-old?

It's made for ages 2 and up. The batteries sit under a screwed-down plate and the key and cable are tied on. Play with an adult nearby.

What batteries does it take?

2 AAA. They're not included. The screwdriver is.

How long do the batteries last?

It depends on how long the lights stay on. Switch everything off after play and they go a lot further.

Will my toddler actually play with it?

If they go for the remote, the keys or the light switch, they'll know what this is straight away.

We already have too many toys.

Same. This one is small, silent and lives in the bag. It's the one you keep for the car, the plane and the waiting room.

Why not a cheaper busy board from Amazon?

Most busy boards are buckles, zips and laces. This one has real switches that turn on lights. You also get 14-day returns and a real person when you email us.

How big is it?

20 cm long, 10 cm wide, 5 cm deep. 280g.

Will it survive being dropped?

The body is wood and the parts are tied on. The switches stick out, so it's happiest not landing face down.

Is it a good gift?

Yes, especially for a second birthday. It pairs well with the Tiny Percussionist Music Set.
